Detailed Weather Forecasts and Alerts

The app provides detailed local weather data, including a 14-day forecast. Users can check predicted conditions such as rain, storms, temperatures, and wind. A key feature is the reception of official weather warnings from NOAA directly for your location through notifications and daily alerts. These warnings cover various weather phenomena, including rain, storms, temperature extremes, wind, hurricanes, tropical storms, and severe weather forecasts.

Real-time Radar and Satellite Imagery

The app offers an animated world weather map, powered by the ECMWF Model, which displays forecasts for coming days and highlights alerts across different regions. It includes a Live Radar service and a Hurricane and Storm Radar Tracker. Users can access animated radar imagery showing the last few hours from the NWS (National Weather Service), alongside visible and infrared satellite images provided by NOAA. This radar technology is designed to track rain, snow, or storms in detail, globally.

Beyond forecasts and radar, the app includes a dedicated section for daily weather news. Recent updates to the app have introduced support for five new languages: Khmer (Cambodian), Kyrgyz, Lao, Mongolian, and Tajik. The air quality icons have been refreshed for clearer and easier browsing of air quality information. The app now also highlights prominent weather events relevant to your specific location, with forecasts consistently based on the ECMWF model.
